Jerry Toombs

Founder

Jerry M. Toombs is founder and president of Summit Group Wealth Advisors. He has been in the insurance and financial service business since 1978. His focus has been in the areas of estate planning, insurance and risk management, retirement and investment planning. Jerry has used a team-based approach to comprehensive financial planning in building his practice, working very close with the client, the CPA and attorney.

Jerry served as president of the Cache Valley Association of NAIFA and served on the Utah State Board of NAIFA for three years. He has been a member of the Planned Giving Advisors Council for Utah State University and served as chairman of the Planned Giving Committee on the Cache Education Foundation. Jerry also serves on the board of the Boy Scouts of America, Crossroads of the West Council. Jerry and his wife Betsy have seven children, 16 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He is an accomplished pianist, and enjoys spending time with his family camping, travelling, hunting, and riding horses and ATVs in the mountains.
